Ryan Winkler

Originally from the small town of Burnet, TX, Ryan began her dance training at Studio 29 Dance Centre under the direction of Jenn Moore. At 17, she moved to New York City after receiving acceptance into Pace University's renowned School of Performing Arts, where she graduated with her B.F.A. in Commercial Dance. Throughout the years she has had the opportunity to perform works by some of her favorite choreographers, such as Bob Fosse, Joshua Bergasse, Al Blackstone, and Alexandra Damiani.

Some of Ryan’s favorite performance credits include: Mary Poppins and Rock of Ages @ Theatre Under the Stars, Step One Dance Company with HAL Cruises (Soloist), Chicago (Potsdam Music Theatre as Liz), Tis' The Season (Surflight Theatre), The Sixth Borough Film, and Sing, Sing, Sing (Verdon Fosse Legacy).

When she isn't performing, Ryan is extremely passionate about her work as a teacher, choreographer, and adjudicator, and currently travels throughout the US creating works and offering classes in a variety of settings and styles. Currently, Ryan lives in NYC and is extremely excited to bring some jazz back to her home state of TX! @ryanbwinkler
